Albert Heijn Extends Breakfast Range
To cater to customers who want to avoid eating (any, or too much) wheat-based fresh bread, Dutch supermarket chain Albert Heijn (AH) has extended its breakfast range, with a new selection of gluten-free breads, rice cakes, spelt-, rye- and oat-based crackers, and traditional crispbreads. The new breakfast range includes 13 new Albert Heijn private-label and 27 new A-brand products.
A new product that will be available exclusively at Albert Heijn is Leksands Crispbread, the number-one Swedish crispbread, or knäckebröd.
In addition, Albert Heijn has developed a new serving-format packaging for some of the new private-label breakfast products, to make it more convenient for the customer to buy them as a snack or add them to a lunchbox.
