Albert Heijn Rebrands Stores For Gay Pride Festival

Dutch retailer Albert Heijn has announced that it it will be rebranding eight of its 'AH to go' stores in central Amsterdam as 'AH to Gay', to coincide with the Gay Pride festival, running from today, 25 July, until 2 August.

In addition, the stores will be serving coffee in limited edition rainbow cups, as well as pink cookies. The retailer campaign will be branded under the headline "Share Love, Drink Coffee".

For each cup of coffee sold, Albert Heijn will be donating €1 to the Amsterdam Gay Pride foundation, with the money going towards cleaning Amsterdam city centre.

The campaign will be running at stores in Reguliersbreestraat, Damrak, Nieuwendijk, Amsterdam CS: Westtunnel, Oosttunnel, IJhal and GVB metrostation.
