Auchan Recalls Private Label Cheese In France

French retailer Auchan has recalled grated cheese products under its private label line Pouce, following the discovery of traces of matter not natural to it.

The 500g SKUs contain cheese that may be harmful if consumed, News.Radins.com reports.

The full name of the SKUs, which have the code number of 3596710744848 and a best-before date of 17 February 2017, is Fromage Râpé Spécial Cuisine.

The detection of foreign bodies does not necessarily indicate the presence of unnatural bacteria.

Refunds are being offered upon return of the SKUs.
