Casino Signs Purchasing Agreement With Conforama

Groupe Conforama, one of Europe’s major homeware and electronics distributors, has signed a joint buying agreement for non-food goods with Groupe Casino.

Both parties have christened their amalgamated purchasing unit ‘Mano’, a joint press release confirmed.

Mano will negotiate with leading electronic-goods and household-appliance companies, such as Blanc, Brun and Gris. In the case of Casino, it is expected that this will bolster the competitiveness of Cdiscount, Géant, Monoprix and Supermarché Casino.

Conforama and Casino will remain independent traders in terms of bricks-and-mortar points-of-sale, their websites, commercial policy, and banners.
