Codorniú's Partner Raimat Launches New Rosé

Spanish winemaker Raimat, managed by the Codorniú group, has launched its new Vol d’Ànima de Raimat Rosé, made with grape varieties Pinot Noir and Chardonnay.

According to Alimarket.es, Elisabet Figueras, the brand’s wine expert, has been in charge of coordinating a harvest done by night to preserve the aromas and avoid oxidation, and to make sure both varieties have been blended in an innovative way.

To come up with the right balance between the grape types, the blend has been done before the fermenting process takes place, using only fresh must, which is an unusual practice.

This new rosé joins the Ánima de Raimat range, which is completed by a white and a red, and has a fresh and modern style, in keeping with the latest consumer trends.
