German supermarket-cooperative Edeka has launched a new cooking channel on YouTube, Edeka Genussmomenten, which roughly translates as 'Edeka Moments to Relish'.
In addition to curious facts about food, a variety of recipes and practical instruction videos (for instance, on filleting fish or making smoothies), the channel features cooking videos by professionals Julia Cawley, Tarik Rose and Kevin Holt.
Aiming to inspire viewers to add variety to their home cooking, the videos offer step-by-step instructions and professional, helpful hints.
Presented on Tuesdays and Fridays, the recipes and videos cover anything from experimental cuisine to easy-to-cook dishes, compatible with a healthy lifestyle.
The new Edeka Moments to Relish channel follows in the wake of Yumtamtam. Introduced in the summer of 2015, it is currently one of the most successful German cooking channels on YouTube, with more than 150,000 subscribers per week. Yumtamtam features entertaining recipe videos pitched at young adults and aspiring chefs.
