Lidl Portugal has become the first retailer in Portugal to introduce a quality seal on the packaging of its private label products.
The company has signed a licensing agreement with Portuguese consumers association Deco Proteste, which awards the seal.
Products that have received prizes and distinctions in independent tests conducted by Deco Proteste will feature the Best of Test and/or Right Choice seal that will indicate the quality and performance of each award-winning item.
Recently, Deco Proteste bestowed five Lidl products with its stamps of approval: Cien Aqua moisturizing cream, Toujours Maxi diapers, Siempre sanitary napkins, W5 dishwasher detergent and Formil Activo laundry detergent.
