Lidl Spain Looking For Sites And Units To Expand

Lidl Spain has expressed its intention to develop and open stores in sites that combine commercial and residential areas.

As reported by expansion.com, the company will participate this week in the Barcelona Meeting Point (BMP) real estate forum this week, at which it will seek to obtain sites for this purpose.

A spokesperson for the company said that Lidl is focused on “improving and expanding its portfolio of shops and logistic resources.”

Lidl is looking for "well connected and located" sites between 4,000 and 9,000 square metres, on which it is possible to build a commercial unit of at least 1,100 square metres. The company is also looking for commercial units on the ground floor of residential buildings in cities with over 16,000 inhabitants.
