The Quattrucci family, longstanding purveyors of fresh produce in the Paris region, have opened a large O’Marché Frais hypermarket on the city's outskirts, according to LSA.
The new store, which is located in La Courneuve, spans some 4,800 square metres. It the twelfth such outlet to begin trading, and is endowed with a three-story car park. Furthermore, it is accessible via the National 2 – one of the main motorways leading into France's capital.
The premise of O’Marché Frais, which is dedicated to distributing fresh produce, is based around a low price model.
Many of the goods available have shorter use-by dates than those supplied by more mainstream supermarkets.
