Russia’s Lenta Opens First Hypermarket In Novoshakhtinsk

Russian retailer Lenta has announced the opening of its first hypermarket in the city of Novoshakhtinsk, in the south of the country.

The store, which boasts a total sales area of 7,849 square metres, and with 4,300 square metres of selling space, is Lenta’s 20th hypermarket opening in 2016, and brings the total number of stores in the group to 160, in 74 cities across Russia.

The store boasts a product range of 17,000 SKUs, including a wide range of private label products and local offerings. Lenta now operates a total of 21 hypermarkets in 13 cities across the south of Russia.
