Seafood Expo Global Kicks Off In Brussels

The world’s largest seafood trade fair, Seafood Expo Global, incorporating Seafood Processing Global, kicks off today (26 April), at the Brussels Expo in Belgium.

Produced by Diversified Communications, the two-day exhibition features 1,664 companies from 80 countries, including 73 national and regional pavilions.

This year’s event hosts new national and regional pavilions for Finland, Russia, Scotland and Uruguay; and new exhibiting countries, including Barbados, Seychelles, Tanzania and Uganda.

Thousands of buyers from 120 countries have registered to attend Seafood Expo Global, including representatives from Brazil, Canada, China, Denmark, Germany, Hong Kong, Italy, Norway, Poland, Portugal, Russia, South Korea, Spain and the UK.

"With 35,862 square metres of exhibit space and thousands of visitors continuing to register, the exhibition reinforces its position as the industry world’s largest marketplace and meeting place," commented Liz Plizga, Group Vice President for Diversified Communications.
