Coca-Cola Appoints New Chief People Officer

The Coca-Cola Company has appointed Lisa Chang as its new chief people officer, effective 1 March 2019.

She will be responsible for global human resources in the company, and will be based in the Coca-Cola headquarters in Atlanta, Georgia.

Chang replaces Jennifer Mann, who will take on the role of the president of global ventures for the cola giant.

An Accomplished Professional

Chang is an accomplished professional with experience in various human resources roles in leading organisations.

Most recently, she held the position of the senior vice-president and chief human resources officer for AMB Group LLC in Atlanta.

She played a vital role in the creation and execution of people and talent strategies that helped in the successful launch of Atlanta United’s Major League Soccer team and the opening of the Mercedes-Benz Stadium in 2018.

Other Roles

Before joining AMB Group in 2014, Chang served as the vice-president of human resources for international at Equifax.

She was also a part of Turner Broadcasting System, Inc. and The Weather Channel Companies in human resources leadership roles.

Chang has a bachelor’s degree in communications from the University of Virginia, and an MBA from the Stetson School of Business and Economics at Mercer University.
