Croissant Donuts A Huge Success In The US

Dunkin' Donuts has announced that more than 4.6 million Croissant Donuts have been sold in the US since the introduction of this limited-time offer in November.

The positive response from guests has made the Croissant Donut one of the most popular limited-time bakery items in recent brand history, the Canton, it said.

Additionally, Dunkin' Donuts is extending the availability of ring-shaped croissant crossover into 2015 at participating Dunkin' Donuts restaurants throughout the country due to the popular demand. Croissant Donuts were first introduced in November.

"The positive customer response to our Croissant Donut reflects the success of our strategies focused on providing guests a menu that offers a combination of old favorites like our Original Blend Coffee and innovative and fun new products like the Croissant Donut," said John Costello, president, Global Marketing and Innovation for Dunkin' Brands. "We are thrilled to extend the availability of the Croissant Donut into 2015 based on popular demand."

Dunkin' Donuts currently has more than 11,000 restaurants in 35 countries around the world, including five restaurants in the UK.
