Nestlé Japan Launches KitKat In Chocolate Made Of Pure Cocoa

Nestlé Japan has launched KitKat Chocolatory Cacao Fruit Chocolate, a product that uses chocolate made entirely from the cocoa fruit.

The wafer is coated with a 70% dark chocolate variant that uses beans and pulp from the cocoa fruit as the only ingredients, Nestlé said in a statement.

It is available in individual packs or assortment boxes with other KitKat Chocolatory Sublime bars.

Chocolatory Boutiques

Customers in Japan can purchase the product online or in KitKat Chocolatory boutiques in Tokyo, Osaka, Kawasaki, and Hiroshima.

In July of this year, Nestlé had announced plans to launch KitKat bars made from this innovative chocolate in Japan.

Next year, the innovative chocolate will be used in other Nestlé confectionery products in other countries.

In Japan, Nestlé has introduced several confectionery innovations through KitKat, such as ruby chocolate and volcanic chocolate.
