Pedon Showcases Its Range At Anuga 2017

Pedon, a proven worldwide player in cereals, legumes and seeds, is showcasing its range at Anuga 2017, which runs from 7 to 11 October in Cologne.

This exhibition is an ideal stage for the company to introduce its main product lines to international customers. These products are the result of Pedon's continuous innovation process, aimed at satisfying modern consumers’ demands.

Among the new products displayed at the company's stand are legume-based product More Than Pasta, two new ready-to-eat products (with 90 seconds preparation time) in the Happy Veggie line, and a gluten-free variant of The Timesavers range.

In addition, an on-site kitchen will prepare a range of delicious meals, showcasing the versatility, convenience and taste of Pedon products.

Understanding The Range

In the More Than Pasta range, as well as the well-known red lentil, green pea and chickpea pastas, the line now features two new SKUs: yellow lentil Lasagna and yellow lentil Spaghetti. The second of these represents the best Italian food in a new original and healthy format.

More Than Pasta received several awards at previous editions at Anuga.

Another main product is Happy Veggie, which is aimed at consumers seeking purely vegetable-based proteins. Its four soy-based products are completed by two new ‘ready to eat’ products, that take just 90 seconds to prepare: a Soy mix with brown rice and a Lupin mix with quinoa. The range is 100% natural, guaranteed GMO-free, vegan certified and can be used in the preparation of many recipes, from breakfast to main courses.

Lastly, The Timesavers gluten-free range is ideal for those who – for reasons of intolerance or personal choice – are on a gluten-free diet.
