PepsiCo Foods has announced it will sell Lay’s Wavy ridged-cut crisps dipped in milk chocolate at Target Corp stores during the festive season in the US.
Released for growing numbers of sweet-salty flavour combination fans, the product has been initially launched for a limited time only and will be sold at a suggested retail price of $3.49 for 5oz bags.
If sales are successful, the new flavour could be made permanent.
Vice president of marketing at Frito–Lay, Ram Krishnan, told USA Today, “When you try something drastically different, you have to walk before you can run. We wanted to test our way through this before we went big.”
