Portuguese 'superfoods' producer Iswari has posted 60 per cent growth this year compared to 2015 and is aiming for a turnover of €4.5 million in 2016.
Seventy five per cent of the turnover is derived from foreign markets, mainly Spain, Italy, Ireland, the UK and the Czech Republic.
The product line includes the 'Despertar de Buda' raw food and 'Spirulina' vegetable protein brands.
The business operates two factories, in Portugal and the Czech Republic, and also has a subsidiary in Ireland.
Since launching six years ago, it has grown to become a market leader in Portugal and now sells its products in 18 international markets.
