Finnish dairy giant Valio has announced a partnership with Palmer Holland on the distribution of a range of lactose-free products in the US.
The move will enable both companies to introduce new value-added dairy ingredients in the US markets, Valio said.

The collaboration will see the distribution of Valio Eila lactose-free milk powder range in the US markets, the company added.
Valio manufactures lactose-free milk powder and advanced blends in Finland under strict quality control and high animal welfare standards.
The company also has zero-tolerance for antibiotic residue in milk and its solutions, expertise and natural ingredients are used in special nutrition, confectionery and dairy products, it said.
Pajari added, “Around 70% of the world’s population suffers from lactose intolerance. The awareness of digestive wellness and lactose intolerance is increasing all over the world, and people are looking for ways to adjust their diet. This means that there is a rapidly growing demand for healthy and great tasting lactose-free products.”
