Ahold's online consumer goods retailer Bol.com has launched a new specialist leisure store.
The new shop will have four departments - camping, traveling, biking and fishing and will offer a wide range of various brands, sizes, colours, types and prices with more than 15,000 articles on offer.
The leisure shop is the fourth new store opened in 2013 by Bol.com. In February, the online retailer opened a store specializing in goods for animals, and another with everything for gardening and DIY. In May, Bol.com opened an outlet offering 20,000 items for the home.
According to the retailer, Bol.com's offering of speciality ranges is 'growing rapidly', with a total assortment of over 7 million articles on offer.
In order to offer a wide and varied range, bol.com works closely with several other retailers, such as Topshelf, Reisartikelen.nl, Nipro Lucas Fishing and Dive Store.
Most of the articles in the leisure range can be delivered within one day of ordering. Customers can also choose to collect their order from some 700 Albert Heijn stores.
