Aldi UK Launches Christmas Range Of Alcohol-Infused Foods

Discount retailer Aldi UK has launched a new range of alcohol-infused foods, which, it says, will 'add a twist to Christmas classics'.

The new festive range will be launched under the retailer's Specially Selected premium private-label line and will be available from November to December.

“At Aldi, we pride ourselves on offering our customers the most exciting foods – not only at Christmas, but all year round, and 2017 is no exception," said Julie Ashfield, joint managing director of corporate buying at Aldi UK.

"We know how popular trends are to customers, and we are confident that our latest range of alcohol-infused creations will prove a big hit over the festive period.”

Festive Foods

Aldi will be selling a range of drinks-inspired meats, including smoked salmon with Scottish whisky or Monsigny Brut champagne, and pork cocktail sausages with prosecco, cranberry and orange, as well as lamb shoulder with a cranberry and port glaze.

Other sweet treats will include prosecco-flavoured honeycomb and espresso Martini fudge.
