Bestway Wholesale has announced the appointment of Kenton Burchell as its new trading director.
Burchell, who previously held the role of commercial and logistics director at Bestway Retail, will work within the group's executive team, reporting to Dawood Pervez, the group's managing director.
Pervez previously held the trading director role, before his promotion to MD last December.
Burchell has more than 25 years worth of experience in the convenience and independent retail industry, having held senior roles at Somerfield, Musgrave Retail Partners and Conviviality.
In 2018, Bestway Wholesale acquired the Conviviality Retail business, and the group maintains two trading teams across the Bestway Wholesale and Bestway Retail channels.
