German skincare company Beiersdorf have launched a brand new website to deal with the continually growing number of mobile device owners around the world.
Yesterday marked Bieresdorf presenting a completely revamped online presence at www.beiersdorf.com with a fully responsive design.
“The goal of being the No. 1 skin care company is firmly embedded in our strategic compass, the Beiersdorf Blue Agenda. With our completely redesigned, innovative corporate website we now have an online presence worthy of this goal,” said Stefan F. Heidenreich, CEO of Beiersdorf AG.
“A company’s website remains its most important calling card and the first point of contact for job applicants, journalists, analysts and interested consumers. The new online presence is a reflection of our company identity and will further strengthen the trustworthy image of Beiersdorf and its brands.”
In order to ensure a globally uniform Internet presence, the global rollout of the new website will be completed by the end of 2014.
“In the last 3 years, the number of visits to our website from mobile devices has multiplied 50-fold. With the new fully responsive design we are orienting ourselves on a path that is consistent with the trends and expectations of our target group,” says Beiersdorf's Catarina Mayer Wichmann.
New product launches earlier this year in shower/bath care and anti-ageing helped the German firm post a sales growth of 6.6% last month.
