BILLA in Austria has opened its first two collection points for its online food shopping service in Vienna.
Internet grocery shoppers can now pick up their BILLA orders at two stores in Perfektastraße and Breitenleer Straße.
Separate check-outs and parking spaces are available for the new online shopping service by the German Rewe Group-owned grocery chain.
Orders placed on Billashop.at before midday can be collected between 5-7pm that same day.
Customers can pay for their grocery orders by debit or credit card at the collection point with an order fee of just one euro.
Meanwhile, BILLA has extended its existing delivery service to include various towns in the greater Vienna area.
Offering online shoppers the ability to collect their groceries at a time that suits them also helps BILLA to reduce the costs of home delivery, while helping to grow the company’s eCommerce business.
Last November, BILLA's owners, the Rewe Group, announced plans to expand its Internet operations.
