Capri Sun Expands Range With Natural, Organic Juices
Food giant Kraft Heinz has announced that it is releasing four new products in its Capri Sun drinks range in the US, with all-natural ingredients and no-added sugar.
The new lines include Capri Sun Fruit Refreshers, made from a blend of fruit juice and filtered water and has 50% less sugar than traditional juice drinks, as well as Capri Sun 100% Juice, which contains three quarters of a cup of fruit per pouch.
There is also an organic juice option, certified by the USDA, and Fruit & Veggie Blends, previously branded as Super V, which features a half cup of fruit and vegetables per pouch.
The launch of these new products is being supported by promotional campaign featuring singer John Legend.
“As a mom, I understand the importance of having options when choosing what to serve our kids,” said Capri Sun's vice president Melanie Huet, adding that “many parents are looking for natural ingredients and less sugar in their kid’s diet".
