Carrefour Drives Forward With Network Extension

Carrefour has plans to extend its network of Drive outlets across France. The retailer will open 400 branches by the end of 2013, according to Linéaires.

With 177 outlets already on the go, it is estimated that Carrefour will have 214 units in operation by the end of 2012.

102 outlets in the Drive network are connected to its Carrefour Market supermarket division with 68 for its hypermarkets. Seven standalone drives are in operation with another to be added in the coming weeks. (26 Oct)
