International suppliers Conforama and Casino groups have created a joint venture named 'SICA', dedicated to optimising purchasing in France of white and brown household appliances, they announced on Wednesday.
The new 'Mano' alliance between the two groups was initially announced on 19 September.
The company will involve other Steinhoff International Group banners, and will focus on enhancing international services and global reach.
SICA will create a portfolio of international services through a range of suppliers (similar to Mano), in order to ease and improve supplier/distributor partnerships and increase the competitiveness of both groups.
The new venture will begin operations for negotiations in 2017.
