Iberian retail group Coviran has expanded its 'Exquisite' premium private-label range across its stores in Spain and Portugal.
In the last year, the retailer has added a number of new products to the range, including extra-virgin olive oil, french fries, ravioli and spaghetti pasta, sheep's cheese, smoked salmon, and anchovies.
These join the existing gourmet food range, which features products such as Iberico ham, asparagus, rice, and balsamic vinegar.
Coviran now sells a total of 1,343 private-label products in Spain, and 1,086 in Portugal. This includes 243 products that are suitable for coeliacs, in response to growing consumer demand.
The cooperative retail group operates 3,300 supermarkets across the two countries.
