Croatia's Konzum Unveils New CEO And Management Team
The board of Croatia's Konzum has named Slavko Ledić as the retailer's new chief executive, while the management board has been extended to include four members.
The management board of the Agrokor-owned retailer now includes Ines Lozić, the member of the management board for finance, Zoran Mitreski, the member of the management board for procurement, and Ivan Šantorić, the member of the management board for retail and logistics.
Teo Vujčić, the former CEO of Konzum, will remain at Agrokor as advisor to the extraordinary trustee for retail, operating as part of the Coordination group.
'These changes of personnel in Konzum will provide management from an experienced team and a professional retail team, according to best global retail standards,' Konzum wrote in a statement.
'This will further strategically strengthen overall retail operations and maintain Konzum’s leading market position, which is all part of a new business model and further plan of restructuring the Agrokor group.'
Ledić has been with Konzum since May 2005, working in the group's wholesale business as the head of the Velpro wholesale centre, Makarska. In 2007, he took over as director of the Dalmatia region, moving on to the Montenegro business in 2014.
Parent company Agrokor is in the midst of a complex restructuring process, as it seeks to streamline the business and repay creditors.
