Dixy Distribution Centre In Noginsk Opens After Renovation

Russian retailer Dixy Group has reopened its distribution centre in Noginsk, near Moscow, after a major renovation.

The warehouse complex, with a total area of 39,284 square metres, has created 1,500 jobs, the retailer said.

A feature of the building, unique for the Russian market, is the availability of loading and unloading docks on all four sides.

Besides the loading and storage areas, the distribution centre is home to offices, a product quality audit laboratory, and an advanced motor vehicle repair shop with a truck wash bay.

A Strategy For Growth

“The chain’s organic growth and increase of logistics operation volume in the Central Federal District warrant the improvement and expansion of our logistics infrastructure. The warehousing complex [...] is going to facilitate the implementation of Dixy’s development strategy,” explained Denis Gurov, logistics director of Dixy Group.
