Dixy Group Announces University Internship Programme

Russia's Dixy Group has announced that it has launched an internship programme for college students and graduates, offering them the prospect of further employment at the company’s offices and distribution centres.

The retailer has said it is also ready to facilitate the professional development of already employed young people. According to the company, approximately 15% of its employees are aged under 25.

As part of the project, third and fourth-year students in Russian universities have already commenced internships in the Finance Department, Logistics Department, and IT Department of Dixy Group.

Future Employees

Dixy Group said that the objective of career guidance for schoolchildren is to ‘tell them of Dixy’s advantages as a potential employer, demonstrate the daily operations, technologies, and business processes of the retail chain, distribution centres, and administrative units at the offices’.

Ekaterina Uspenskaya, HR Director of Dixy Group, said, “Dixy values initiative, proactivity, constant movement, desire to explore and reach new heights. These are precisely the things interesting and close to the heart of young people.”
