Dixy To Support Russian Start-Ups In Retail Technology

Russian retailer Dixy Group has announced its plans to invest in Russian start-ups operating in retail technologies, logistics, and services, in a campaign that will ‘support and develop innovative ideas’.

From 8 June, the retailer will launch a business accelerator program at the Dixy Academy. The company has invited entrepreneurs and developers of retail software and technologies to attend and take part in the event.

The company said that it is interested in projects aimed at 'enhancing the efficiency of sales and customer service processes', and the 'optimisation of logistics and customer communications’.

It added that it will prioritise projects that can be implemented in under half a year, but it will consider all proposals. Groups and individuals that propose the best projects will be offered a business partnership with Dixy Group.

Rapid Development

Sergey Belyakov, CEO of Dixy Group, said, “Rapid development is one of Dixy Group’s business priorities. The company is always open to new ideas and actively uses state-of-the-art IT systems and solutions. We would like not only to engage major technology providers, but also to assist aspiring talented specialists and entrepreneurs in implementing their ideas at all stages."

“I am convinced that such partnerships will benefit both our company and start-up owners, and will, most importantly, become a venue for attracting the best projects capable of giving a new momentum to the development of our unique proposal for our customers.”

Dixy Group will also provide start-up operators with its venues for development, testing, pilot launch, and market launch of ready solutions.
