Spirits company Beam Suntory has announced the appointment of Vince Ambrosino as its new senior vice president, chief strategy and technology officer, effective 1 January 2018.
Ambrosino currently holds the position as the executive officer and division COO of the global business development department at Suntory Holdings, Beam Suntory’s parent company.
Before joining the parent company in 2015, Ambrosino spent two years at Beam Suntory, leading the company's global financial planning and analysis and treasury functions before serving as interim CFO. He has also served in a number of finance positions at PepsiCo.
“We’re pleased to welcome Vince back to Beam Suntory in this expanded role, in which he will be responsible for building and leading our long-term strategic growth and technology agenda,” said Matt Shattock, chairman and CEO of Beam Suntory.
According to the company, Ambrosino will join the Beam Suntory executive leadership team and report to Shattock. Ambrosino is a graduate of the University of Illinois and earned a Master’s degree at Northwestern University’s Kellogg Graduate School of Management. He and his family will relocate to Chicago from Tokyo.
The spirits company announced the appointment of Albert Baladi as COO in November and appointed Marc André Tousignant as its new CFO in October.
