Bruichladdich CEO Made Head Of Rémy Cointreau Whisky

Simon Coughlin will assume the role of CEO of Rémy Cointreau’s newly-created whisky unit, moving from CEO of the Bruichladdich Distillery Company, a Rémy subsidiary purchased in 2012.

He will be responsible for the Westland Distillery in the US, and for the French whisky maker Domaine des Hautes Glace. Both are controlled by Rémy Cointreau.

Bruichladdich’s current global brand director, Douglas Taylor, will fill Coughlin’s shoes as Bruichladdich CEO.

Marketing director of Rémy Cointreau, Mark Breene, has been appointed CEO of Westland Distillery, while Frédéric Revol retains his position as Domaine des Hautes Glaces chief executive.
