Irish Distillers Wins Seven Gold Medals At International Spirits Challenge

Irish Distillers Pernod Ricard has won seven gold medals at the International Spirits Challenge (ISC), considered one of the most important competitions in the spirits industry.

The company was a big winner in the Irish Whiskey category, with its Jameson brand winning four gold medals. while its Redbreast, Yellow Spot and Midleton Barry Crockett whiskeys also won gold awards.

The company, which is part of the international Pernod Ricard spirits group, also took home 13 silver and one bronze medal in the competition.

The gold winning whiskies were as follows: Jameson 18 Year Old; Jameson Bold; Jameson Caskmates; Jameson Round; Redbreast 21 Year Old; Yellow Spot 12 Year Old and Midleton Barry Crockett.

Other Irish whiskey winners at the event included Walsh Whiskey Distillery and William Grant & Sons.
