Jerónimo Martins To Invest €10m On Employee Bonuses In Portugal

Jerónimo Martins has announced plans to invest €10 million in annual bonuses for employees working in its stores and distribution centres in Portugal.

In Portugal, 80% or around 21,000 employees will be eligible for the bonus, the company said.

The bonus will be awarded to approximately 71,500 employees in Poland, Portugal and Colombia.

The retail group has also increased the monetary value of the extraordinary annual bonus to €500, which represents a 5% increase compared to the previous year.

The decision to increase the bonus, proposed by chairman Pedro Soares dos Santos, was approved by Jerónimo Martins’ Board of Directors.
