Spain's Grupo Logista Sees Revenues Up 3.8% In First Nine Months Of Financial Year

Spanish convenience supplier Grupo Logista has posted a 3.8% increase in revenue in the first nine months of its financial year, to €7.66 billion.

Operating profit for the period was up 7% to €134.1 million in the period, with the group saying that it posted a positive revenue performance in all three regions (Iberia, France, Italy) in which it operates.

Revenue in its Iberia division, which comprises Spain and Portugal, stood at €2.32 billion in the nine-month period, compared to €2.28 billion in the corresponding period last year, an increase of 1.6%.

In France, total revenue stood at €3.1 billion, while in Italy, where trading in the period was particularly affected by the COVID-19 pandemic, the group described its performance as 'very positive'.

Grupo Logista, or Compañía de Distribución Integral Logista Holdings to give it it full title, serves more than 300,000 outlets in Spain, France, Italy, Portugal and Poland with a range of convenience products, publications, lottery products, pharmaceuticals and other proximity categories.
