Wines from the 2015 Rias Baixas vintage have been officially presented in London.
As reported by gondoladigital.com, a group of representatives of the Spanish DO visited the British capital, including the secretary of the its regulatory board, Ramón Huidobro, and marketing director Eva Mínguez.
A total of 50 brands across 36 wineries from the DO offered tastings at Ibérica (a London chain of Spanish restaurants). The group of guests was comprised of distributors, sommeliers, buyers, press and people working in the hospitality industry.
At the event, Mínguez highlighted the importance of the UK market for these wines, extolling the “versatility, quality and elegance of Rias Baixas wines.”
