E.Leclerc, Lactalis Finalise Agreement To Revaluate Milk Prices

E.Leclerc has announced that it has finalised a tariff agreement with the Lactalis Group that will allow a revaluation of milk prices paid to French dairy producers.

Emmanuel Besnier, president of the Lactalis Group, confirmed, "The tariff increases related to this agreement will be fully reflected in the calculation of milk prices for the year 2019."

Positive Impact

This year, the sale of more than 200 million Lactalis dairy SKUs in E.Leclerc stores will have a positive impact on the income of around 12,000 farmers linked to the dairy group.

The president of E.Leclerc, Michel-Edouard Leclerc, added, "Lactalis is an emblematic actor and an essential outlet for thousands of French producers. It is important that we reach an agreement allowing a real revaluation of agricultural income."
