Eckes-Granini Profits Up Despite Flat Sales

German multinational Eckes-Granini Group, producer of fruit juices under de umbrella of Eckes AG, ended 2015 with an EBITA increase of 16.4%.

Sales remained largely flat, at €821 million, compared to €820 million the year previous. These figures are accounting for the loss of its business in Turkey, from which the group wrapped up business in during the year.

Pre-tax profits increased to €88.7 million, up from €76.2 million the previous year. In terms of volume sold, there was a 2.1% increase in compared to 2014.

“We are very proud of this achievement, which we reached thanks to commitment, determination and a strong focus on results”, said Thomas Hinderer, CEO of Eckes-Granini Group.
