Edeka's Minden-Hannover Trials Free Wi-Fi

Edeka Minden-Hannover is trialling free Wi-Fi in eight in-store cafés in the hope that customers will use the service to access its website with the chain's smartphone app.

The pilot, which is currently being trialled in Berlin, Bremen, Hannover, Hildesheim, Halle, Jena and Dessau, is expected to run until the end of the year.

Edeka Minden-Hannover, extends from Dutch to the Polish border of Germany and employs some 65000 members of staff.
