Spanish retail group El Corte Inglés has picked Trace One to implement an online portal to manage its own label products. The new collaborative platform will allow the retailer to use real-time information sharing to work more efficiently with its private label suppliers while reducing the time-to-market of new products to between one and two months.
'Portal Quality' is the first step of the programme, followed by 'Portal Packaging', which will speed up the management of the packaging design, and 'Portal Product Life Cycle', which will include the handling of complaints. (1 Oct)
