Etos Named 'Best Drugstore' In The Netherlands
Ahold Delhaize’s drugstore chain Etos has been named as the best drugstore in the Netherlands for the seventh time in eight years, according to a consumer survey.
Etos earned the highest overall score of 7.89 in a 10-point scale in the 2018 Drugstore Report by market research agency GfK. The report involved 6,000 interviews, and assessed a total of 1,250 stores.
The chain received the highest rating in five out of eight categories, including 'staff expertise' (7.72), 'choice of drugstore products' (7.83), 'cleanliness' (8.16), 'quality' (8.13) and 'atmosphere' (7.98).
However, Etos scored the lowest with regards to the ‘low prices’ category, and was overtaken in ‘staff friendliness’ and ‘attractive offers’ by Trekpleister and Action, respectively.
"I am very proud that together, we have done it again," said Etos general manager Jan-Derek Groenendaal.
"This award is a very positive compliment from our customers to all colleagues who work enthusiastically and with passion every day in our shops, at our distribution centres and at in our head office."
