'Eyes On Our Fish' – Fish Masterclass By Nireus
In order to strengthen Nireus's relationship with clients, and particularly with AB Vassilopoulos, the company organised two training sessions in June for selected staff from the fish departments of their retail stores.
AB Vassilopoulos is a member of the Ahold Delhaize Group, with which Nireus has exclusive cooperation for AB Choice products.

Participants had the opportunity to visit Nireus's unit in Aliveri, where they closely watched the harvesting and sorting processes of the company's fish, and then they were guided to the packing unit.
Afterwards, they attended a full training seminar at the Negroponte Resort in Eretria, with presentations by Nireus's sales and quality control departments. Two scientific associates of the company, Ms Karakatsoulis and Ms Papageorgiou, who have specialised in ichthyology and nutritional value, also participated in the presentation.
The workshop ended with an extremely interesting cooking show presented by well-known chef Giorgos Tsoulis. He advised on filleting and cleaning fish, and also cooked two recipes with sea bream and sea bass, which all participants had the opportunity to taste.
Nireus's client, AB Vassilopoulos, expressed enthusiasm and full satisfaction with the organisation and contents of the seminars, and granted the aquaculture an additional motivation for undertaking new initiatives that will convey Nireus's knowledge, passion and love for these wonderful, nutritional, and high-quality products, which are sourced from the sea.
