5Post To Deliver Books From Labirint To Pyaterochka Stores
Russia’s X5 Retail Group has announced that 5Post has launched a new service that delivers books and other merchandise from online bookstore Labirint to around 8,000 Pyaterochka stores across the country.
Customers can place orders of any amount on Labirint.ru and receive their merchandise in Pyaterochka outlets offering the service.
The delivery dates and fees depend on the weight and destination of the orders, the retailer added.
5Post, a subsidiary of X5 offering parcel delivery services, uses its own logistics services to transport the goods.
Managing director of 5Post, Vitaly Dyrdasov, commented, “We are happy to announce the start of a collaboration between 5Post and Labirint, which is Russia's largest online bookstore.
“This partnership will enable thousands of people to pick up books, games and stationery ordered from Labirint at a nearby Pyaterochka store."
5Post and Labirint are also introducing a promotional offer from 6 April, which gives customers with a Pyaterochka Helping Card 500 points on their first order from the bookstore.
Head of marketing at Labirint.ru, Yulia Kulakova, said, “First and foremost, we seek to promote reading and good books, to unite people who, like us, share a passion for knowledge and fantastic stories."
5Post has already collaborated with some of the biggest online marketplaces, such as Beru.ru and AliExpress, and intends to expand its list of partners, X5 said in its statement.
