Cherkizovo Sees Growth In Turkey Sales Volume In October

Russian meat producer Cherkizovo Group has reported a 7% year-on-year growth in turkey sales volumes, to 3,790 tonnes, in October.

Chicken sales volumes remained flat at 57,670 tonnes, while the pork segment saw a 14% decline to 24,160 tonnes.

The company’s pork production volume also declined by 14% to 25,060 tonnes.

Price Changes

The average price of chicken increased by 2% year-on-year to RUB110.26 (€1.22) per kilogram, while turkey prices declined by 7% to RUB158.95 (€1.75) per kilogram.

Pork prices jumped by 15% to RUB99.73 (€1.10) per kilogram in this period.

The company’s meat processing division reported a 1% growth in volumes to 23,070 tonnes, while the average price per kilogram increased by 7% to RUB170.71 (€1.88).
