Fruit Logistica 2013 Set For Success

Fruit Logistica, the leading international trade fair for fruit and vegetables, opens today (6 Feb) at the Berlin Exhibition Grounds for what is sure to be another roaring success. From 6 to 8 February, 2,543 exhibitors from over 78 countries will take part in the show with 55,000 trade visitors from 120 countries expected.

Organised by Messe Berlin GmbH, 105,455 square meters of exhibition space will see exhibitors presenting products and services for the fresh produce category, as well as industry innovations that serve as a valuable driving force in the industry, increasing the variety of options for the consumer. Around 90 per cent of exhibitors and 80 per cent of the trade visitors will be coming from outside Germany, making Fruit Logistica one of the most international trade fairs worldwide.

A wide-ranging series of lectures, seminars and podium discussions will support the exhibition, providing trade visitors with information about current issues, challenges and trends in the sector. Six forums will take place over the three days of the trade fair.
