HMY's 360º Projects: From Conception To Roll-Out In The Sales Outlet

  • For over 60 years, HMY has been producing 360º projects for retail – from defining the business model and concepts to manufacturing and turnkey projects.

    The retail sector has been evolving over the years. It is not just about large food stores or small independent companies.

    It covers a multitude of chain stores with different concepts and network sizes, and a varying geographical presence.

    To support these retailers, the HMY design office and project managers adapt and optimise ideas for production, respecting the chosen visual identity.

    Thanks to HMY’s expertise in multiple materials, it can produce any type of furniture, from the simplest to the most complex, which is always adapted to the configuration of the specific sales outlet.

    HMY’s assembly teams operate all over the world, no matter where the stores are located, enabling the company to reach out to any store network.

    An example is a project undertaken with De Neuville, in France – a market leader in chocolate franchises.

    ‘Vivons Gourmands’

    Several sales outlets have been created with a new concept called ‘Vivons Gourmands’, which uses warm colours, enticing gluttony.

    In this case, HMY adapted the agency Carré Basset’s creation to industrialise the concept according to the chocolate manufacturer’s requirements.

    The murals have been segmented to optimise their location, and some elements have been placed strategically, to give greater visibility and make some products stand out.

    In addition, tables with confectionery products in bulk have been set out, so that customers can make their own bags.

    This project is the result of the work that HMY has been doing with the brand since 2015, adapting its stores according to different concepts and needs.

    So far, HMY has created stores throughout France in the cities of Gonfreville-L’Orcher, Nice, Bologna, and Mer Lorient.
