Kanzi Demonstrates 'The Power Of Great Taste' In Fruit Logistica
Kanzi has proved that taste and quality are still the two main pillars for both retail and consumers.
This year, GKE set up a new stand at the 28th edition of the Fruit Logistica in Berlin and managed to attract existing and new future partners.
GKE was able to demonstrate how the taste of the Kanzi apple matches the global preference of visitors with its specially developed Apple matchmaker app.
It tests the preferred taste profile for apples based on sweetness, tanginess, juiciness, and crunchiness.
A positive mood prevailed during Kanzi's annual global meeting, which witnessed international participants from 6 continents.
The Power Of Great Taste
Kanzi's representatives, dressed in red suits, asked visitors at the fair about their general taste preferences in an apple.
Tests conducted at both GKE's stand and with Kanzi's partners confirmed that the taste of a Kanzi apple is embraced worldwide by all respondents.
Around 91% of the respondents managed to score a 70% match or higher with the specific tastes of a Kanzi apple.
Global Brand With Local Production
CEO of GKE NV, Dietmar Bahler, commented, "Local for local is a growing trend worldwide. With a 90% production that is consumed domestically, the Kanzi apple perfectly fits this trend.
"But to also make sure that every Kanzi consumer can purchase our apples all year round, a seamless transition from European goods to overseas is of the utmost importance."
