Perekrestok Vprok Expands Deliveries To Tatarstan And Chuvashia

Russia’s X5 retail group has announced that online hypermarket Perekrestok Vprok has expanded its delivery service to Tatarstan and Chuvashia.

The service will enable residents of Kazan, the capital of Tatarstan, and Cheboksary, the capital of Chuvashia, to order goods right to their doorsteps.

Orders above RUB1,500 will be eligible for free delivery with longer waiting periods, while orders above RUB2,000 will be fulfilled within two hours, also free of charge.

'Keen To Use Online Services'

Leonid Dovladbegyan, managing director of Perekrestok Vprok, said, "We decided to expand Perekrestok Vprok to Kazan and Cheboksary based on market research and analysis of consumer demand. People in these cities are very keen to use online services.

"Since part of our team works in Innopolis [in Tatarstan], we would like them to be able to use the services that they have played such a key role in creating."
