Glass Packaging Body FEVE Elects New Vice President

Glass packaging body, the European Container Glass Federation (FEVE), has elected Michel Giannuzzi as its vice-president.

The election of Giannuzzi, chairman and CEO of glass packaging manufacturer Verallia Group, was announced during the FEVE annual general meeting held in Rotterdam on 15 June.

Giannuzzi commented on his new position, "I am eager to put my experience at the service of this industry which has an unrivaled cultural heritage in Europe and a strong future ahead. Glass continues to be the packaging material of reference for many products despite competition.”

"Our European industry association has a leadership role in federating forces towards [a] circular economy.”
